Character Related Stuff That Needs to Be Avoided in RPGs:
Controlling Other Player's Characters:
You should not control another person's character without their permission. This also includes your character doing actions that would have an impact on the other character, like stealing their favorite cuckoo clock!
Perfect/Invincible Characters:
These are characters who have no weaknesses, never loose at anything, have no moral short comings, or can get away with all their rotten deeds without an consequence. Please remember that your character can't always win, and come out of every tough spot without a scratch. Also, don't make your character a depressed talentless loser who never wins at anything and has no positive traits, those can be even worse than a mister or miss perfect.
All Knowing Characters:
Pretty much a character that knows everything, and nothing in the plot is a mystery to them. They can see those invisible ninjas as if they were wearing glow-in-the-dark sunglasses and rainbow clown wigs. These characters also know about the secret plot to assassinate the evil jackalope king....even though they have nothing to do with that part of the plot at all!
